The REALLY BIG NEWS for today is that we now own www.KeithBSmith.Com !
For the moment we're just using the new domain name URL "KeithBSmith.Com" as a re-director, temporarily set-up for pointing people towards the Keith B. Smith Memorial Pages - but eventually, I'm hoping that we'll be able to get it fully developed into an online meeting place, a news and information source, a liberal political collective consciousness, an online educational resources and reference library and a discussion forum for progressive activists, students, volunteers, group and individual advocates and a world-class 24-7 conversation hub for working and aspiring lobbyists and progressive thinkers.
My constantly-evolving streams of ideas (sometimes, they're more like 'polluted flood waters'!) about how to best use this new domain - named specifically for the purpose of honoring and memorializing our good friend, Keith B. Smith - are elaborate, exhaustive, complex, extravagant, radical and far too important to be left un-attempted.
One of my first PRACTICAL and WORKABLE ideas about building the KeithBSmith.Com domain was this: I'm planning on recruiting multiple dozens of volunteer webmasters, writers, artists, filmmakers, musicians and internet developers, working as a semi- collaborative virtual team of individuals - that way, everybody gets to put a little skin in the game.
Anyone who wishes to make a positive contribution - will get to contribute. Those who can't crunch code - can write checks.
